Royal Challengers Bengaluru qualify for the IPL 2024 Playoffs after beating Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 27 runs at M Chinnaswamy Stadium on May 18 (Saturday). RCB's comeback into the IPL 2024 is etched in the tournament's history as the comeback as Faf du Plessis' side qualified for the playoffs after winning six matches in a row.
Meanwhile, RCB finished at the 4th spot with 14 points in 14 games. Chennai ended their IPL 2024 campaign with 14 points in 14 matches but a net runrate of 0.392 against RCB's 0.459.
RCB needed to win the match by 18 or more runs while defending a target and they did that.
