Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) wicketkeeper and opener Philip Salt is in amazing form in IPL 2024. He created havoc with his bat on Monday also. He played a stormy half-century against Delhi Capitals (GT) at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata. Salt scored 68 runs in 33 balls. He hit 7 fours and hit 5 sixes. He scored fifty in 26 balls. This is the sixth half-century of his IPL career. Salt has destroyed a record of former KKR captain Sourav Ganguly. He has become the highest run scorer in a season at Eden Gardens. So far Salt has scored 343 runs in six innings here. Ganguly had added 331 runs in seven innings in 2010.
