The eliminator of IPL 2024 will be played between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore on Wednesday. However, a bad news has come before this match. RCB has canceled the practice session and press conference due to threat to the safety of Royal Challengers Bangalore's star batsman Virat Kohli. Before this match, 4 people have been arrested on terrorist suspicion. However, till now no official statement has been issued by BCCI or Royal Challengers Bangalore regarding this matter.

According to media reports, Royal Challengers Bangalore canceled their only practice session ahead of the IPL 2024 Eliminator against Rajasthan Royals due to security reasons. RCB was scheduled to practice at Gujarat College Ground in Ahmedabad on Tuesday to prepare for the knockout match, but the team decided to cancel it without any official reason. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals team did net practice at the same place. However, there was no press conference, which is unusual on the eve of an important IPL knockout match.

Before the match, both the teams practice on the same ground where the match is going to take place. But this did not happen in the case of Rajasthan and Bengaluru, because IPL Qualifier 1 was played between Kolkata and Hyderabad on the same ground on Tuesday and hence it was not available for Rajasthan and Bengaluru. The Gujarat College ground was given to the teams of RCB and RR as an option.
