Gujarat Titans opening batsman Sai Sudarshan has achieved a big achievement in the match against Chennai Super Kings on Friday. Sai Sudarshan has become the fastest Indian batsman to complete 1000 runs in IPL. Sai Sudarshan broke the records of Sachin Tendulkar and Rituraj Gaikwad in the match played at Narendra Modi Stadium on Friday. Both the players had achieved this milestone in 31 innings. However, Sudarshan has achieved this feat in just 25 innings.

Shaun Marsh holds the record for completing the fastest 1000 runs in IPL, he had completed 1000 runs in just 21 innings. Lendl Sims is at second place in this list, he did this in 23 innings. Matthew Hayden and Sai Sudarshan achieved this feat in 25-25 innings. Jonny Bairstow, Chris Gayle, Kane Williamson and Michael Hussey had completed one thousand runs in 26, 27, 28 and 30 innings respectively.

Gujarat Titans defeated Chennai Super Kings by 35 runs on Friday in the 59th match of IPL 2024. After scoring 231 runs for three wickets, Gujarat restricted CSK's innings to 196 runs for eight wickets. For CSK, Daryl Mitchell contributed 63 runs while Moeen Ali contributed 56 runs. Mohit Sharma took three wickets for Gujarat. Shubhman Gill and Sai Sudarshan played century innings for Gujarat. Shubman Gill also received the Player of the Match award for his brilliant century.
