Whereas, in the second match of the day, Gujarat Titans defeated Mumbai Indians in the match played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In such a situation, the first weekend ended with home advantage. One match was played on Friday, while 2 matches each were played on Saturday and Sunday.

The sixth match of IPL 2024 will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. If RCB is successful in winning this match then the winning streak of the home team will continue. If the team loses then Punjab Kings will become the table topper and RCB will reach the last position in the points table. No player has been able to score even a half-century for RCB.
