The first match of IPL 2024 will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Online tickets for this match will start from Monday (March 18). MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings will face Royal Challengers Bangalore in their first match on March 22 (Friday) in Chennai. Chennai Super Kings has issued an online advisory on ticket sales.
According to the statement of Chennai Super Kings, the online ticketing process will start on March 18 at 9:30 am through Paytm and Insider.in. The lowest price of online ticket for the match between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore is Rs 1700, while the most expensive ticket is Rs 7500.
On purchasing tickets online, one person will get only two tickets. Entry gates for the first match will open at 4:30 pm. You will not be able to bring food items from outside and arrangements for drinking water will be available at every stand.
Former Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli has not joined the team camp yet. However, fans are hopeful that he will join the team soon. CSK had handed over the captaincy to Ravindra Jadeja in 2022 but after consecutive defeats, he left the captaincy midway and Dhoni again became the captain. Since then Dhoni is the captain and he led CSK to the fifth title in 2023.
